Vented lenses are ideal for activities that cause fogging inside of lenses. Cycling, Mountain biking, Running, Climbing etc. Where often the glasses are much warmer inside the lens than out because these sports often take place in cold or inclement weather. The vents allow a controlled amount of air to circulate behind. Still offering wind protection but with a controled circulation.
